According to officials, the landslide was triggered by a cloudburst. The sad incident took place at around 3 pm on Saturday.
The tragedy killed a family of seven in the Rasi district of Jammu and Kashmir during the early hours of Saturday, as their house collapsed due to landslides, to bury the entire family under their rubble.
Waqar Yunus, the police officer of the sub-division of Mahore of Rasi, said that all the seven members of the family were buried for three to four hours before recovering their bodies from the rubble on Saturday morning.
According to Younus, the landslide was triggered by a cloudburst. The sad incident took place at around 3 pm on Saturday.
In another part of the state, three people died and two are missing due to the Rajagad region of a cloudburst Ramban district on Saturday. According to a police officer, CloudBust hit the area at around 12:30 pm on Saturday.
