Oasis blown the cobway and stopped his reunioning tour in Cardiff, as he removed the doubt.
Taking on stage after a 16 -year break, the band refreshed and rejuvenated, tearing in classics such as cigarettes and alcohol, live forever and slide away – 70,000 fans held each other and spread the beer on themselves.
He opened with Hello, with a chorus of “It’s it’s good to be back”, with acquaintances – one of the few songs that offer vowels from both Noel and Liam Galagher.
The song “We need each other” felt like a harmony – or a breath of relief – as the brothers buried a decades of quarrels and joined with their fans again.
In particular, Liam attacked the gig with wild -eyed passion – staring at the stage and biting his prey like a lion while biting in songs.
The audience responded. A communal enthusiasm congratulated songs such as Wonderwall and Dont Look Back in Anger, both of them drawn from Oasis’s 1995 work, (Whats the Story Morning Glory) – one of the largest sold British albums of all time.
All night, it was one after the other: something can say, supersonic, whatever, half the world, Rock ‘N’ Roll Star.
During Live Forever – which he dedicated to Liverpool footballer Dogo Jota – the audience also sang noel’s guitar Solo.
“You look like the weight of Charlotte Churches,” Liam said, impressed, after me by stand.
The frontman looked fresh and powerful, put to relax the outspoken issues that had plagued him on the previous tours – the result of Hashimoto’s disease, an auto -defense status that could affect the voice.
As fans would know, Oasis was never the most dynamic tasks on the stage. Noel, especially, wears a studying form of a person who tries to remember his national insurance number – but somehow, it is impossible to remove your eyes.
Although they came out of hand, there were some other signs of chemistry among the brothers who never addressed each other during a two-fourth hour show.
But simply reconciled them, after all enmity, and restless water under the bridge, was extremely emotional.
While presenting the last songs of the night, Champagne Supernova, Liam said, “It’s good to work with us over the years.” “We are working hard, I get it.”
As soon as he left the stage, Galegars shared a brief hug.
But the instability of the band was always part of the appeal.
His off-stage hurtix often made headlines as his music: he missed his first European gig. Arrested on a cross-channel boat, Liam Two front teeth lost In a fight with German police, and later A judicious American tour left Go House-Shikar,
Half of the fun was working which work of Shakespeare’s play was being implemented in front of you.
Nevertheless, Liam’s antics often disappointed their brother.
“Noel is the man who is chained for Tasmanian devil,” Mojo’s advisory editor Danny Ekleston said. “A lifetime will wear you down.”
All this came on one head in a gig in Paris in 2009. Oasis separated after a backstage change, which began with Liam, throwing a plum on his elder brother’s head.
In the intervening years, he was engaged in a long war of words in the press, stage and social media.
Liam repeatedly called Noel a “large -scale potato” on Twitter and accused her of leaving the One Love Concert for the victims of Manchester Arena bombing.
Noel replied that Liam was a “village stupid”, which “needs a psychiatrist”.
But last year there was relationship, Liam dedicated half the world to his brother at the reading festival last August.
Two days later, the reunion was announced, in which the band was announced: “The guns are silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be television.”
A scuffle was started for tickets, with more than 10 million people alone applying to see the dates of 19 UK.
Those who succeeded were surprised by high prices – especially when the tickets advertised at £ 155 were again labeled “in demand” and turned to £ 355 plus fees on ticketmaster.
On the stage, Liam asked the audience to light the scandal: “Is it worth £ 4,000 you paid for the ticket?”
For many people, the answer was yes. Cardiff was awakened with Oasis fundamentalists around the world including Peru, Japan, Argentina, Spain and South Korea.
An Italian couple had “live forever” in their wedding rings. A British woman, who expects her first child, scattered “our baby” – Noel’s surname for Liam – beyond her baby bump.
The city was awakened in a bucket hat and branded tracksuit top. Outside the stadium, an entrepreneur Booker attracted a large crowd by playing a set of Oasis songs. Everyone joined.
Inside, the band clung to the classics, with a settlement, who wandered only once from the 1990s, for the 2002 Little by Little.
The songs were notable well.
The youth of the tracks such as live forever and supersonic cracked with hunger energy. And cigarette and alcohol, written by Noel in 1991, about dissatisfaction after the 15 -year conservative rule of the working classes of Manchester, in 2025 it seemed relevant as it was then.
,Is it worth growing up to find a job when it is worth working,
Later, during Wonderwall, the frontman changed the song to say the song: “There are many things that I would like to tell you … but I don’t speak Welsh,
I have seen Oasis several times, many times and it was best since 1995, when I caught him supporting REM at Slenn Castle, Ireland, as he (Whats the Story) was limited to the release of Morning Glory.
The manchester band blown the headlines – immediately felt dated and irrelevant – in a show that threatened to develop Liam into anarchy after threatening a fan, which threw a projection on the stage.
He could not have a danger feeling in 2025, but had a hunger and a passion that was missing from his final show in 2009.
Fans, and parts of the British press, are already guessing whether Liam and Noel will hold the synergy – but with evidence on stage in Cardif, Galaghas are finally crazy as crazy.
