New Delhi: Congress leader Mani Shankar Iyer on Saturday criticized the government’s global outreach after ‘Operation Sindoor’, especially for the purpose of his party MP Shashi Tharoor, who was part of all party delegations visiting many countries. Speaking to news agency IANS, Iyer said, “Tharoor and his team none of the 33 countries who visited Pakistan for Pakistan for the Pahgam terror attack.”He further said, “Neither the United Nations nor the United States has blamed Pakistan. We are only saying that Pakistan is behind it, but no one is ready to believe us. We have not been able to present any evidence that assures people that the Pakistani agency fulfilled the act.”He also said, “We are engaged in conversation with China. Do we not know that Chinese soldiers were sitting with Pakistan’s Air Force to support war? If we are ready to talk to China, why don’t we talk to Pakistan?”India launched Operation Sindoor in early May to destroy nine terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and poke in retaliation for the Pahgam terror attack.On May 7, 22 April was launched in response to the Pahgam Terror Attack, in which 26 people lost their lives, Operation Sindoor showed Calibrated, Tri-Services Action targeting the hideout of terror in Pakistan.
