Ker County officials said on Saturday that around 100 people who were still missing after disappearing after the deadly flash flood in Central Texas on 4 July were still found missing.
The update missing list comes when the search entered its third week, which marks a sharp decline from more than 160 people alone in Ker County.
Kerville City Manager Dalton Rice said in a statement shared on social media on Saturday night, “This remarkable progress reflects an unwavering commitment to bring clarity and hope for families during the countless hours of coordinated discovery and rescue operations, careful investigative work, and an unconcernedly difficult time.”
Till Sunday, Ker County had a death toll at 107, including 70 adults and 37 children.

Across Texas, at least 135 people were killed when the water of the Gwadalup river increased by 26 feet, which washed homes and vehicles. Rapidly growing water takes out the hill country, where holiday cabins and youth take the camps to the line of Ker County and the line of hills.

The Mayor of Kerville, who said Herring Junior, said, “Our thoughts are still waiting for the news with the families, and we will stand with them as the effort will continue.”

Ker County is located about 60 miles in the north -west of the County San Antonio.
