Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar/Kolhapur/Mumbai: Amidst the MVA demands for the video of Agriculture Minister Mani Kokte, which he was shown playing Rummi in the Legislative Council last week, state NCP president Sunil Tatkere expressed strong rejection of his conduct and said that the party national proud agency Pav must have taken a decision. He said, “Whatever happened was unfair. A minister with a sensitive and important portfolio, such as agriculture, should work responsibly for the welfare of farmers, especially during the agrarian crisis. The party will take a suitable decision,” he said. Asking the minister’s claim that an advertisement for the game was popped up on his phone “wrong”, Tatkere, considered close to Pawar, said that he believes that the deputy CM would have already talked to Kokka. On the recent brush of Kokte with controversies, which claimed that farmers spend money received from agricultural plans on engagement ceremonies and weddings, Tatkere said, “Their comments on crop insurance and debt exemption were unfair. Ajitda (power) had reprimanded him earlier … is not acceptable to accept such behavior.”NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Power, who had posted two videos “Kokate”, demanded that the government dismissed him and handed over to the ministry to the person who was sensitive to farmers’ struggles.
