The police were in hand to ensure that a family of Hans crossed a major road, safely completed their journey.
Essex Police received reports about a pair of adults with four cycles laughing around the A131 Regiment Way, Chelmsford.
CH Inspection Jennifer Bliss said: “I am happy that we were able to get this young family for protection from a busy roadside. Fortunately, our officials are trained for many incidents, so there was no need to wing it.
“I am also grateful to the patience of all the drivers on the road at that time. Such incidents may have spit the wings, but everyone was really understanding.”
