The decision to go for Tandi was looked after by the new WRU director of Rugby Dave Radin.
Radin said, “Steve’s coaching journey and approach they have taken for their own learning and development affect us since leaving the osterams during the interview process.”
“He is a symbol of a collaborative and systematic approach to the creation of success that I want to establish in my high-demonstration system.
“Steve is an excellent coach with inspiration and curiosity, which continues to continue to learn and develop a part of its DNA. These are very important features for all in our system.”
There is no official news of who will make Tandi’s Backroom Staff, but Wales will look at some coaches that are included in the last two campaigns.
Cardiff’s head coach Shert attacks are in line to be the coach, while the current Harlequins Scramas Coach Adam Jones and Gluster Assistant Rice Thomas are also considered for roles under Tandi.
“Steve Welsh is an important part of the future strategy for success in rugby and I will make sure that he has space, time and support to feel the ability of the thrilling group of players at his disposal.”
“That treasure of experience, a unique understanding of Wales and a large amount of excellence in our disposal we have a large amount of excellence in the role and role we have.”
