Comedian Steve Kugun has said that “he planned to come back to a community that was very good for me” after he was elected to lead the upliftment of his hometown in Greater Manchester “.
The comedian has been declared as co-chairman of the established Mayor Development Corporation (MDC) to promote Middleton’s redevelopment.
His appointment was announced by the Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham to promote the growth in the area along with five other MDCs.
