The Chief of Staff, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Sir Kir Stmper, shows the most paid special advisors, government figures.
The cabinet office stated in a report that Morgan McSwini is paid between £ 155,000 and £ 159,999.
Nine senior government employees, known as Spads, are in the next highest band and are paid between £ 145,000 and £ 149,999.
National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, Koi Strategic Communications Director James Leones, and the top economic advisor to the Chancellor, John Van Reenen, are among the second largest salary brackets.
Last year, BBC reported Former Chief of Staff, Suu Gray of Sir Kir, had higher salary than £ 166,786 which the Prime Minister was earning.
Gray abandoned her role, saying that she “raised the risk of becoming a distraction”, and was replaced by McSwini, who was the first Prime Minister’s chief advisor and mastered the Labor’s general election campaign.
The details of Gray’s salary were leaked to the BBC, as the former senior civil servant was entangled in internal lines in the early months of the labor government.
Some special advisors of the team were asked to cut payment.
Overall, the pay bill for spads in 2024/25 was £ 16.7m.
It included £ 3.1m in the dissection cost, partly covered outgoing advisors from the previous Orthodox government.
By 31 March this year, 130 Special Advisers were working for the government.
A pay of more than £ 76,000 has been declared in a band of £ 5,000.
Mcsweney was the only person in £ 155,000 to £ 159,999 band.
Pavel, an experienced diplomat, was appointed as a special advisor last year, broke with the conference to play the role of National Security Advisor, usually conducted by a civil servant.
