The office of South Carolina Attorney General has officially presented its response to Alex Murdow’s appeal to challenge his wife and son’s killings.
In a brief 182-pest filed before the August 8 deadline, the office of Attorney General Alan Wilson abolished the December appeal of Mardagh, claiming that the Court of Court Becky Hill provoked the gamblers to promote the sales of their upcoming book.
The filing is the state’s first complete refutation for Murd’s bid for a new test.

The prosecutors also said that Murdow empowered the evidence of financial offenses to not accept the trial court’s decision.
Wilson’s team initially requested a longer time to respond, citing the complexity and size of the case, including the 6,000-pavement testing transcripts and significant evidence, which required a review.
Harputlian, an attorney in Colombia and former state senator Dick Harputlian, who led Murdow, first told Fox News Digital that Hill’s conduct compromised the test. According to Harputlian, the actions of the hill potentially gave Murdo a fair verdict.

“If he had left the jury alone, we would have clearly done the worst, a misunderstanding,” Harputlian said, saying that two gamblers would have voted separately for the effect of the hill.
Raksha also disputed that the jury should not have heard evidence related to Murd’s financial misconduct.

The humiliated lawyer was convicted of the killings of his wife, Maggi, and son, Paul in March 2023, who was badly shot dead in family’s hunting property in the colon County on 7 June 2021. He was also convicted of two weapons allegations related to the murders.
Murd’s team has 30 days to give a brief answer to the Attorney General. Once the two sides are over, the state Supreme Court will determine oral arguments, possibly with this decline, with the expectation of the next spring.

56 -year -old Murdo, who continues to maintain his innocence, is serving two consecutive life conditions in the state jail.
