Six people of Newport have requested not to be guilty of violent disorder in the city.
GWENT police called Commercial road at around 15:20 BST on Friday A group of men were reportedly seen fighting, which led to four people to the hospital.
On Monday, men aged 25, 28, 33, 40, 42 and 52 appeared in a separate hearing in the Newport Magistrate Court and sent to custody.
A 17 -year -old, who is also from Newport and arrested in connection with the incident, has been released on police bail and is later to appear before the magistrates.
In the first hearing, the court was told that Mehmat Oskoy, 52, Murarat Ascoy, and Burk Ascoy, 25, used or threatened illegal violence with others, which led to those who were present to fear for their safety.
The CCTV footage of the alleged incident was shown in the court.
District Judge Sophie Toms told Mehmat Ascoy, “The allegation you are facing is a very serious matter. The incident occurred with a large -scale violent outbreak during the day.
“I have been told that it came as a result of a dispute between the two families,” he said, describing the experience as “frightening”, which saw it.
With the help of an interpreter, the defendants confirmed their name, age and address.
Police officers were present during the hearing.
The judge said that the matter was very serious and complex which was to be dealt with in the magistrate court and will be sent to the Crown Court.
Murarat and Burk Askoy were sent to custody before hearing a petition and test preparation in the Cardiff Crown Court on 1 September.
An application for bail was denied by Mehmat Ascoy.
In a second hearing, 33 -year -old, 33, 42 -year -old Yagamur Sayak, and 45 -year -old Firti Sayak were also told that the case was very serious to be dealt with in the magistrate court.
The bail application for Savas Sayak and Yagamur Sayak was denied and Falrat Sayak’s counsel indicated that a bail application would be made at the Crown Court hearing on 1 September.
A 40 -year -old eighth man from Newport has also been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and is currently in police custody.
