Six people have been found guilty of a series of suspected Gangaland attacks, including setting fire to jail of jail officials.
Michael Heips, John Murray, Lee Ridgway, Dell Bold, Demian Mulen and Ryan McGawn targeted several victims in and around Edinburgh at the end of 2022 and in the beginning of 2023.

“You traveled to HMP Addivell, where you set fire to the cars of six jail officers – a terrible crime against many people working with the execution of the court.
He said: “It was clearly intended to intimidate and send a message to those working in jail.”
DET SUPT PAUL Graeringer said the level of violence in the attacks was “completely unacceptable”.
He said: “Although all these were targeted attacks, people involved did not show any connection for the affected communities.
“These events could have very serious consequences, and I want to clarify that this behavior will not be tolerated.”
