Fireball GC captain Sergio Garcia on Sunday secured a reputed Live Golf Open Championship discount with a Kirkira 2-Ener-Burbar 70, with a handful of contestants, including his fireball GC team partner David Pig.
Although Garcia did not score any points in Dallas, finished 25th in 3 overs, he was the most placed live golf player inside the top five through the first nine events of the season without discount.
Garcia Season-Long is at fifth place in the individual championship points, Joquin Neemon, Bryson Decombo, John Rahm and Dallas winner behind Patrick Reid, each of which already has an open discount.
Garcia will start its 26th open appearance and 102nd major championship in the Royal Portrash next month.
Garcia said, “This is my second time in Royal Portrash, and it is clearly good.” “This is one of the goals that you have at the beginning of the year, the larger companies you can try to play, the more you can do with the limits that we have.
“I have not helped myself in the last three months, but I am happy that I got enough work in the first third of the year, I think, in the first part of the season. I am excited about it, and hopefully I will play well.”
