The Senate is trying to curb the policy of the Trump administration towards Ukraine, which has oscillated between cooperation and sudden return, estimating colleagues and officials.
President Donald Trump recently agreed to send weapons to Ukraine, the annual defense policy bill of the Senate would curb courageous that has aroused bipartisan concern, especially about the Pentagon decisions.
The National Defense Authority Act (NDAA), unveiled on Friday after a bilateral talks by the Senate Armed Services Committee, included specific railings on US military cooperation. The NDAA also confirmed that it is the United States policy that help Ukraine maintain a reliable defense “and Ukraine increases the security aid initiative by $ 500 million.

White House spokesman Anna Kelly said, “This decision was earlier taken to keep America’s interests.” Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell echoed that framing, calling it “a review of capacity” and adding, “We cannot give weapons to everyone in the world.”
Shortly thereafter, Trump denied the break by suggesting that the US would send the Patriot missile interceptors and additional defensive assistance to Ukraine. The Pentagon later announced that it would resume the shipment.
Trump said on Monday evening, “We are going to send some more weapons. We – they should be able to defend themselves.”

Despite talking with both the Russian President Volodimier Zelanski and Putin last week, Trump described his discussion with the Russian President as fruitless.
“We get a lot of bulls — we were thrown at us by Putin,” Trump told reporters during the cabinet meeting. “He is very good all the time, but it becomes meaningless.”
It was pressurized as to who had authorized the break in military aid, Trump appeared uncertain.
“I don’t know why you don’t tell me?” He said on Wednesday. According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump told Zelansky that he was not responsible for the decision.

The current tone of the administration marked a shift shift earlier this year, when the tension between Trump and Zelanski reached a boiling point during a controversial February oval office meeting.
Trump allegedly said “dictator” before that month, Trump allegedly told Zelansky, “You must be grateful. You don’t have cards.”
