Both Scott and Trump have supported Sen Ashley Moody, R-Fla in their upcoming dialect to stay in the Senate.

Desantis tapped Moody to replace Marco Rubio, who left the Senate well before the end of his tenure to serve as Trump’s State Secretary.
Moody has targeted to win a special election next year, which is to serve the remaining part of the word Rubio’s Senate.
