First on Fox: The House Oversite Committee Washington is planning to pursue several bills next month to support President Donald Trump on crime in DC, Fox News Digital has learned.
A source familiar with the committee’s work told Fox News Digital that “the panel bill” will mark the bill to combat the teen crime, address the DC education system and to eliminate restrictive policing policies enacted by the DC Council that prevents law enforcement from keeping residents and visitors safe. “
This is an important step towards Republican of the Congress with Trump’s effort to combat crime in the national capital.
The House Oversite Committee is one of the two Congress panels, which has jurisdiction over the national capital and its operation, so most home-wide laws dealing with DC crime and other similar cases are likely to arise there.

Representative, Biren Donalds, R-Fla., A member of the committee, first introduced a bill on the issue of teenage crime by 18 to 18 years of age of the city, which means that anyone aged 18 or older will be tried as adults.
It is not clear whether specific bills are being marked by the committee next month, though.
The latest plans of the House Oversite Committee come after the President announced that he is making the DC police force federal for a period of 30 days as part of the attempt to deal with the crime and beautify the city.
