New Delhi: In a rare example, SC on Monday cast the Karnataka government for prosecution against BJP MP Tejasavi Surya for a post on X, Ed for a PMLA case against the wife of Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and an NGO for a contempt petition for a PMLA case for a PMLA case.It was first the turn of the Government of Karnataka, who had filed an appeal against HC’s decision to release the prosecution against Surya, which was accused of making wrong claims about the farmer who died of suicide after transferring its land to the State Waqf Board.Before Additional Advocate General Awiskar Sinhi may appoint his argument, who can file an appeal and the need to prosecute the sun, a bench of CJI Br Gavai and Vinod Chandran of Justice said, “Do not try to politicize the issues before the court. This was followed by NGO Atmadeep’s turn, demanding a criminal contempt against Banerjee for his reported public statement that SC’s decision had canceled the recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff scam. The bench gave the same advice to senior advocate Maninder Singh as people given to the Government of Karnataka and Ed. However, Singh said that the Attorney General’s consent would be required since the onset of contempt proceedings, the petitioner has approached the top law officer and is waiting for his response. “Are you sure you will get the response,” the bench postponed the hearing on the petition.
