Samsung has launched the Galaxy Book 4 Edge in India, expanding its AI-manual computing offerings. The device is equipped with on-device AI features and Copilot+ Integration of Microsoft. It is part of Samsung’s Galaxy AI ecosystem, which enables connectivity between Galaxy smartphones and PCs.
With features such as Link to Windows, Multi Control and other screen, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge allows users to mirrors the smartphone screen on PC and manage equipment on platforms. Galaxy AI functionality such as chat Assist and Live Translates are now available on this PC.
The Galaxy Book 4 Edge Qualcomm runs on Snapdragon X processor, leading to 45 trillion operations per second (tops) of nerve processing unit (NPU) performance. This includes Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU and supports features such as cocreator, which uses AI to convert sketches and text signals into images. Windows studio effects are also available, during video calls offer tools such as voice focus, background blur and eye contact correction.
The device comes in a full HD (1080p) camera, Wi-Fi 7 support, and a 15-inch version with a battery, claiming to last 27 hours on a charge. It is produced using recycled materials including plastic, glass and aluminum. The device weighs 1.55 kg.
Safety features include Samsung Knoc, which monitor the hardware-level and real-time danger. As a Microsoft safe-core PC, it provides firmware security and supports on-device data management with features such as recall. Users can control or remove the data stored directly on the device.
