Former house speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Thursday that sex change for transgender children is something she is working for “national level”.

Earlier this month, more than a dozen authorities from the Democratic states filed a lawsuit to prevent the Trump administration from blocking the sex change processes and remedies for people under 19 years of age.
The complaint, which was filed in the US district court for the Massachusetts district, argues that the Trump administration wants to impose a nationwide ban on sex transformation procedures by threatening the “baseless criminal charges” and the investigation.
The lawsuit is designated as President Donald Trump, Attorney General Palm Bondi and the Department of Justice. The same month, Children Hospital Los Angeles closed their center for Trans Youth Health and Development, one of the largest clinics in the country for transgender young people.
The Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC also announced that it would no longer provide gender transition-related medical intervention.

Many states have laws restricted or restricted to sex change surgery for children.
