A man has been jailed for 14 years, when class A drugs were hidden in an air compressor at a distance of £ 11 meters.
Ryan King, a 38 -year -old Ryan King of Tollerton Road, West Derby, Liverpool, was part of an organized crime group, which tried to smuggle 159LBS (72 kg) cocaine and 112LBS (51 kg) heroin in the UK in March 2022.
After arriving in an unmanned trailer from Holland’s hook, drugs were found at Killingholme Port near Grimsbi.
The king was due to going on a test, but he was sentenced in a plow Crown Court on Tuesday, when he changed his petition to be guilty.
The king convicted two cases of fraud theft of prohibition on import of class -e -drug.
His DNA was found on a tracker by drugs package and National Crime Agency officials.
In December 2022, King was arrested at Liverpool John Lenon Airport when he returned from Elikante.
NCA operating manager Carl Bairas said: “The loss of those drugs and the loss of the king damaged the crime group behind the smuggling attempt.
“They have lost a large amount of money, which can no longer be returned to further insults, and the drug seizure means that they will not be made a cause of sorrow around our communities.”
