Moore, who has represented Southern Alabama 1 Congress district since 2021, styled himself as a fiscal hawk with prolonged history of President Donald Trump’s support. In fact, he was the first elected officer in the country to support Trump during his first run for the office in 2015.

“I think my number one job is to protect people’s freedom and support the President in that process,” said Moore. “And therefore, for us, this is an opportunity to continue to fight for the first agenda of America, and also make sure that we have conservatives in the Senate from Alabama who are actually the voice of the people.”
According to the Fox Business National Date Tracker, Washington has a continuous rising national debt, with $ 37 trillion and counting.
When helping Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” preparing, one of his top priorities was to apply pressure to the Congress’s spending habits to get approximately $ 1.5 trillion in the next decade, the downward pressure on the habits of the Congress.
“I think we have to hold the line on spending,” said Moore. “But again, it did not get it overnight. You are not going to cure it overnight. So you have to do it slowly.”

The 58 -year -old Moore is not alone in the race to replace Tuberville, which announced earlier this year that he would bid for the governor’s mansion after serving only one word in the upper room. He joins Republican Primary with Alabama’s Attorney General Steve Marshal and former Navy Seal Jreds Hudson.
There is also a trio of candidates running on the Democratic side, including Kyle Sweeter, Dakarai Lariat and Mark Wheeler II.
And despite his orthodox bolefs – he is a member of the house Freedom Caucus and postponed his deep orthodox voting record – Moore believed that the number one issue in the Senate, and the Congress in general, is the growing partisan division.

He said that when he came to Washington in 2021, he was disappointed that Republicans and Democrats did not work together in the lower room under former house speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
“I think most of the people in DC are royal,” he said. “They are trying to do the right thing. There is perfect, and it is sometimes an enemy of practical. And so we try to ensure that even on ‘big, beautiful bills’, it was not right. It was not right. 435 versions were correct in the House, but royal people come to the table and say that we can get a practical solution.”
“I don’t think we have to always see the opposing side as an enemy,” he said. “And I think we have to keep in mind that they represent areas, and they have a different experience in life.”

He is in support of shortening the debate on the nominee, when MPs return from their August break, and argued that Democrats argued the Democrats “the role of Obstacle” despite winning Trump in the 2024 election.
