An improvement in England is the first to approve the proposal to share sensitive financial information with the UK-controlled Council Party’s cost cut unit.
The West North Committee Council Reform is searching for options to share the data requested by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) of the UK.
Dogge has asked the council to provide a record of spending on IT system, social care services and hotel housing shelter seekers.
Former reforms are aiming to enter the same data -dialogue agreements with all the councils controlled by the party – the team of unrelated volunteers led by the UK President Zia Yusuf.
The BBC has been told that Dogi has presented requests to reach sensitive information to other councils, including Kent and Vesters Sarshire.
So far, Dogge has focused on drawing focus on publicly available information about the council’s expenses, such as the money spent on the net-geiro initiatives and asylum seekers.
The party says it needs access to the records of the council that are not public to ensure that taxpayers are getting value for money.
A party source said, “It is not very well secret at the council level that a lot of money is wasted on the purchase.”
But opposition councilors have questioned the need of a team of external auditors and expressed concern about how to handle sensitive data by DOGE.
Jonathan Harris, Liberal Democrat Group Leader of West Northamptonshire Council, said he doubted Dogi’s claims and argued that it should be up to the elected councilors to identify opportunities to save money.
“He has said that he is going to get great data engineers and will use AI,” Harris said. “It appears to be all smoke and mirror.”
Harris said he “had a lot of uncomfortable concerns about it because it is a PR exercise”.
“This is a preacher tool for improvement,” he said.
The council has not yet shared any data with Dogi.
But the council stated that on Wednesday, the arrangements signed by the cabinet “set the outline under which the information can probably be shared in the future, including strict legal security and privacy security measures”.
Council’s reform UK leader Mark Arnul said that the proposed data-sharing system will comply with the law.
He said: “I am confident that the team will be able to support the council in identifying the ability to protect and distribute services to the residents of West Northamptonshire.
The council said that since its construction in 2021, it survived around £ 115m already working more efficiently.
But the finance of this council and other people across the country is under mass stress, with the lack of many budgets due to rising costs and increasing demand for services.
Dog was launched in June this year after controlling 10 local authorities in the local elections of May.
Reform UK stated that a team of software engineers, data analysts and forensic auditors would visit and analyze “local authorities” to find “waste and disabilities” in the budget.
The unit is made up of about 15 volunteers and is run by Joseph, who left as the president of the party in June, Before returning to improve after the days of Dogi,
The party has not revealed the names of any volunteers working with Joseph on Dogi.
It is based on the cost-cutting department established by US President Donald Trump and led by the first billionaire Elon Musk.
In the US, Dogge has been interrupted by legal challenges for Americans’ individual financial data to reach personal financial data.
Reform UK said Kent County Council – which he controls – will be the first local authority to be audited by its DOGE team.
Officials – Effectively Civil Servant – In the Council, it is deciding how to respond to Dogi’s request for information.
A spokesman for the Kent County Council (KCC) said: “KCC officials are working in association with the new administration and positively to ensure that they achieve their policy objectives, while doing so within the proper legal and governance structure.
“This cooperation with our newly elected members will ensure that any decisions taken are valid, appropriate and proportional, and we will move towards major decisions in the appointed time through governance process.”
Asked whether Dogi’s requests were resisted for information, an improvement UK source “I do not think such as pushbacks have been pushed”.
“It is more careful and is sure that everything is legal,” the source said.
