Peter Philips, nephew of King Charles, has announced his engagement with NHS Nurse Harriot Sparling.
A picture that shows Ms. Sparling her engagement ring, as she hugs the son of Princess Shahi, has been released to Princess Anne to mark the occasion.
A statement issued by the couple said: “Both families were jointly informed about the announcement and were pleased with their amazing news of their engagement.”
The wedding date has not been set.
Mr. Philips has two daughters, Savanna and Isla Philips, from their first marriage to Autum Philips. She married in 2008 at St. George Chappell at Windsor Castle and divorced in 2021.
The statement said that Mr. Peter Philips, HRH’s son Rajkumari Royal and Captain Mark Philips, and Ms. Harriet Sparling, daughter of late Sri Rupert Sanders and Mrs. Mary Sanders of Gloster’serire have confirmed her official engagement today.
The king, queen and the princess and princess of Wales have also been informed about the announcement.
Sri Philips and Ms. Sparling’s relationship started for more than a year when she was seen together in social programs.
Recently, Mr. Philips and Ms. Sparling participated in the Royal Escot in June as the guests of Raja and Rani.
The couple participated in the traditional vehicle procession, which was built by the royal family on the racecourse to indicate the beginning of the day.
Last month, he was also present in Prince William’s charity funding polo matches and the Royal box in Wimbledon last month.
Princess Anne dismissed the royal title for her son and her sister Zara, and she is not “working royals”.
