A Meghalaya court on Wednesday sent three persons in judicial custody in judicial custody in the murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi in the northeastern state in May.

He faced allegations related to obstructing justice and molestation in a flat in Indore, where Raghuvanshi’s wife Sonam and her lover Raj Kushwaha, both were arrested in the case, halted after the crime committed by three hitmans.
A special investigation team of the Meghalaya Police (SIT) arrested the property dealer Silom James, who had leased Vishal, one of the three arrested hitmen, where he allowed Sonam and Raj to live.
The jewelery and other items he took after the crime was also taken to that flat.

Sonam, Raj and his friends Vishal Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi were first arrested in the murder case.
Raghuvanshi, who married Sonam on 11 May, went missing during his honeymoon in Meghalaya on 23 May. His severed body was found in a deep gorge in Sohra area of ​​East Khasi Hills district on 2 June.
