The person accused of shooting five soldiers at Fort Stewart in Georgia on Wednesday morning has been identified as the US Army Sergeant Quornius Redford.
According to the social media post by the US Army, the soldiers were shot in the second armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) area of Aadhaar.
According to Fort Stewart officials, all the soldiers were treated on the site and then rushed to the Vinn Army Community Hospital.
Redford, who is caught, is 28 years old and acts as an automated logistics sergeant assigned to ABCT.

The army stated that Redford is from Jacksonville, Florida, and joined the regular army in January 2018 as an automated logistics expert.
The army also said that Redford has never been deployed.
He was arrested after shooting and is currently in pre-testing imprisonment.
On May 18, 2025, Redford was arrested for driving under the influence by the Georgia Department of Public Safety and for failing to follow the traffic control device.

According to a summons received by Fox News Digital, Redford allegedly told the officer who replied that he runs a red light as he needed to use the bathroom.
