A powerboat driver died during an international competition, when his boat collided with a stable houseboat.
The Circuit Powerboat Association (CPA) said the accident occurred on Thursday at around 19:50 BST during the event on Ooulton Broad, Safok.
The Safok police has now confirmed the powerboat driver, who died on the spot in his 50s.
The Coastguard and East of England Ambulance Service also participated, and the police were closely contacting the Bureau of Investigation (MAIB).
The Safok police said that the authorities were asked to “report a powerboat and Oulton Broad Water Sports Center to report a stable houseboat in the vicinity.

In a statement on social media, CPA said No other contestants were involved,
