In Kentki, the police are searching for a motive after shooting a gunman and killed two women in a church on Sunday, injuring a state soldier.
According to Laqsington Police Chief Lawrence Water, the suspect, who has not yet named the police, killed two women and injured two people at Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington.
Officials said the suspect set a state soldier on fire when he was pulled near the Blue Grass Airport at around 11:30 am, the police officer is expected to survive. The state’s tropper’s license plate reader pulled the suspect after showing an alert.
“Some people were the routes for the airport, and they came out and assisted the soldier,” Vatherrs said. “I appreciate them to get out and do them what they did.”

After the first shooting, the police said that the suspect stole a car 10 miles from the blue grass airport before opening the fire in the church.
The church is about 16 miles from the first shooting.
While the police have not established a purpose for shooting, Vathers said that suspected people can be known to people in the church.
“Initial information indicates that the suspect may have a connection with individuals in the church,” Vathers said.

The two women killed were identified by the authorities as Beverly Gum, 72 and Christina Comombs, 32.
Governor Andy Aashiar addressed the shoot on X, asked for prayer.
