At least three people have been killed, and suspected gunmen are detained after shooting at a target store in Austin, Texas on Monday.
Austin Police Department chief Lisa Davis said during a press conference that the police responded to the shooting reports at around 2:15 pm, and when they arrived, they found three people who were shot in the store parking.
The suspect, Joe Davis, said that the victim was already run away after stealing the car’s car from the parking lot.
The chief said that the suspect ruined the vehicle before taking Volkswagen from the car dealership.

He was later found by the Austin police in South Austin, where he was taken into custody after “a tessing”, said Davis.
The chief said that the subject exited the vehicle in South Austin when someone called and alerted the police.
“We have three people who are dead. It is a very sad day for Austin,” said the chief. “This is a very bad day for all of us, and my sensation goes out for families.”
An initial investigation found that the suspect has a history of mental health issues, the chief said.

Davis told the suspect that the suspect had a rap sheet as well as emergency detention.
Robert Lakaritz, head of Austin-Trevis County EMS, said that when his crew reached the spot, he found three victims, two of whom were declared dead on the spot. The third victim was taken to a local hospital and was later declared dead.
A fourth hunt was also treated at the scene, although for non-related injuries.

Davis told reporters that the investigation did not reveal what happened due to the shooting, given that the police do not know whether there was any dispute on this point or not.

Nevertheless, investigators will review the surveillance footage out of the target to get a better idea of what happened.
The target employees directed the shopkeepers out of the back of the store, a source of Fox Business. Lakshya has not yet given official reaction to shooting.
The police initially described the suspect as a white person, possibly wore khaki shorts and an aerial floral shirt.
