Zee Leard/GeographsA major discovery operation is going on after a boy’s disappearance in the North Yorkshire River.
The police were told only after 17:00 BST on Saturday that a 12 -year -old boy entered the Swail River in Richmond and had not been seen since.
The North Yorkshire police said the authorities had made extensive discovery with other emergency services including fire and expert and expert search teams.
Emergency services remain at the scene while the search continues.
