The age of performing-centric phones with above 7,000mAh battery is here, thanks to Silicon Carbon Tech. Indian market has launched two in the same category, along with Poco f7 Recently launched, as well as Realme GT7Which was also launched in May last month. Now, both phones follow more or less the same major formula: maximum glasses for the minimum price.
This is why both are performing and focused. Both are designed to pack in a lot of hardware for mid-range pricing for the budget. We have used both phones for a solid: Realme GT7 for about one and a half months and Poco F7 for a few weeks. Now I like you about both phones, how they compare, and where do they go beyond each other. So, if you are confused between the two, seeing that they are quite similar, coming in Poco F7 31,999 and Realme GT7 39,999.
Realme GT 7 vs Poco F7: Performance
Both phones pack new chipsets from rival companies. Poco F7 gets the latest Snapdragon 8S General 4 Chip, while Realme GT 7 gets MediaTek Dymenties 9400E. Now, both are 4Nm chipsets, but it is worth noting that Realme GT7 comes with RAM up to 16 GB, while in India Poco F7 is limited to 12 GB.
The storage type also varies, with Realum GT7 UFS 4.0 storage, while Poco F7 gets UFS 4.1 storage. In terms of synthetic benchmark, we have taken both phones through them. Realme GT7 scored a multi-core score of 7,238 and a single-core score of 2,210 in Geekbench 6 CPU Benchmark, while Poco F7 scored 6,210 multi-core score and 1,978 with its Snapdragon 8S General 4 chip and a single-core score of 1,978. Therefore, in the context of both, the Realme GT7 is slightly ahead in terms of the Geekbench score, but in terms of real -world performance, you will have no problem in using either.
Both fly through their respective operating systems. But one thing is worth noting that Realme GT 7 supports 120 FPS in sports like BGMI, while Poco F7 supports 90 FPS for now. Saying that, during the press briefing organized by the brand, he mentioned that he was working with Crafton to bring 120 FPS support.
Poco F7 vs Realme GT 7: Camera
Now, when it comes to optics, both phones sports different setups, offer a triple camera setup compared to Poco F7’s double camera setup with Realum GT7. This difference is mainly attributed to the addition of a telephoto lens with Realme GT 7, which Poco F7 recalls out. So, Poco F7 gets a 50MP main wide camera and 8MP ultravide shooter, while GT 7 gets 50MP main wide camera, 50MP telephoto 2x camera and 8MP ultravide shooter.
Now, on paper, Realme GT 7 definitely has an advantage when it comes to the possibilities you have. It makes more diverse camera setup. But talking about images from the main camera, both phones provide reliable output. In daylight, both provide sharp results, also in mixed lighting. But we have seen that Realme GT 7 often results in photos with very low noise, especially when shooting in extreme low light.
Saying that, colors look better on Poco F7. Highlights, however, are better controlled on realum GT7. In all, both have quite competitive camera setups, but if we want to choose one, Realm GT7 wins it.
Poco F7 vs Realme GT 7: Construction Quality and Performance
Coming into the build, we have gained access to Realme GT7 in both our special version Eston Martin version, as well as its isten blue color. And we have Poco F7 limited version in Colorway. What we can tell, Poco F7 definitely feels more premium. It has Gorilla Glass 7i which is also in front along the back, and the side is metal. While Realme GT 7 also has a plastic back with a plastic back -it certainly remembers on premium feel. But Realme GT 7 is more comfortable in hand due to its light weight.
Both phones have large displays, in which Poco F7 is getting a 6.83 -inch panel and Realme GT 7 getting a 6.78 inch panel. For the performance itself, we feel that Realme GT 7 moves forward with its Ltpo Amoled panel, which can reach the summit of 6,000 knots. We feel that it also improves colors. Both also have Gorilla Glass 7i Protection. Both have also been preserved using an IP rating. Poco F7 gets the IP68 Plus IP69 rating, and Realme GT 7 also has an IP69 rating.
So, in all, it depends on what you like. If you want something more comfortable in the hand, the GT7 definitely takes it. But if you want a premium content, Poco F7 is definitely ahead in this regard, but you should know that it is quite heavy, coming above 220 grams for the Indian version.
Poco F7 vs Realme GT 7: Battery Life
Now, finally addressing the elephant in the room, the battery life with both phones has been excellent. Both phones are the latest entry into the 7,000 mAh battery club in India. Realme GT 7 gets a 7,000 mAh silicone-carbon battery and supports 120W wired fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging. While Poco F7 definitely makes it one-up with its huge 7,550 mAh battery for the Indian model. It is also a silicon-carbon and supports 90W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
Now, both have large batteries, but in terms of real -world testing, we feel that Poco F7 definitely has a profit of 10 to 15 percent in real world use. While GT 7 could run easily for two days, we usually had to plug it by the end of the second day, but with the POCO F7, it could move beyond that, and at the end of the second day, we ended with about 10 to 15 percent of the battery life. But then, both are excellent artists, and you cannot either be wrong.
Poco F7 vs Realme GT 7: Decision
Now, after using both phones, there are two major areas where both phones are different. The first is software, and the second is a camera setup. When it comes to software, both phones are running on their related skins on top. Realme GT 7 runs on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, while Poco F7 runs on Xiaomi Hyperos 2.0, which is based on Android 15. Now, I think Realme UI 6.0 is definitely light and more pleasant. Hyptic reaction is also better integrated.
In addition, there are very few blotware that comes with Realme UI compared to Poco F7. Therefore, in the context of software, I think Realme GT 7 wins here. But Xiaomi’s Hyperos 2 is not too far behind. It is quite feature-rich, but must have got rid of blotware to start Xiaomi. Yes, it is uninstallable, but when you boot the phone it presents a disgusting experience.
Finally, cameras. In this regard, Realme GT 7 provides more thanks to its telephoto camera, but it is worth noting that Realme GT 7 is also more expensive by both. Realme GT 7 Cost 39,999, while Poco F7 can be purchased around 32,000. Therefore, if the camera is not a priority for you, Poco F7 can be a better option. It sports a premium display, a premium design and of course the best-in-class battery and performance.
So there you have it. If you want to save money and choose the option of a phone that costs 30,000, go for Poco F7. But if you want a good camera experience along with performance, then pay the additional premium for Realme GT 7.
