Referring to the recent cabinet decision on the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) scheme, he said that the government will provide a youth Rs 15,000 to the youth who get their first job in the private sector, which means that the first month’s salary will be borne by the government. For this, Rs 1 lakh crore has been allocated, he said.Highlighting the recently released report of the International Labor Organization (ILO), Modi said that it was found that more than 90 million citizens in India have been brought under the umbrella of welfare schemes in the last decade, which is essentially an expansion of social securityHe also talked about the achievement of about 250 million people who came out of poverty by “defeating poverty with his strength and courage”.The PM said that global institutions like World Bank are openly praising India for this achievement and now it is being placed in the top countries in the world in terms of equality. “This means that inequality is rapidly decreasing, and we are moving towards more equality.
