Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pick, CP Radhakrishnan for the Vice President, will be unanimously elected to the post by members of the Parliament of all parties, Union Minister Kiren Riju said on Tuesday.
He said that PM Modi and floor leaders of all NDA parties welcomed and welcomed CP Radhakrishnan at the meeting of the alliance on Tuesday.
Rijiju also praised CP Radhakrishnan’s experience as the governor of several states and said that he is a good pick for the post of Vice President.
“In today’s NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, our Vice-Presidential candidate CP Radhakrishnan was reshuffled by Prime Minister Modi and floor leaders of all NDA parties. CP Radhakrishnan is an ordinary person who is an ordinary person with long experience. He has worked as a governor of different states. Rijiju said the media.
He said that Radhakrishnan has lived a simple life and he has a very good experience and it will be a matter of happiness for the country if he becomes the next Vice President of India.
Rijiju also indicated that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is also talking to MPs of various parties so that CP Radhakrishnan is elected unanimously on the post of Vice President.
“There is no dispute in his life, no corruption, no stain, he has lived a very simple life and has only worked for society and country. If such a person becomes the vice president of the country, Rajya Sabha …,” Ani quoted Rijiju.
However, the opposition remains to announce its pick for the second highest parliamentary post in the country. According to several reports, DMK leaders Tiruchi Shiva are emerging as the most prominent name as India Block for Vice President.
