West Yellowstone, Mont. – Search teams located at the site of an airplane accident killed three people near Yelostone National Park using the last known place of smart watch from one of the victims, officials said on Monday.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration Records released on Monday, the single -engine piper PA -28 aircraft left Montana’s West Yellowstone Airport before midnight on Thursday.
When the aircraft could not be located, two search aircraft were sent to see the area around the last known place of the clock, Galatin County Sheriff Office said,
Search planes found a plane below about half an hour later in dense wood to the south of the city of West Yellowstone. All three were the deceased.
Their bodies were removed from the aircraft and thrown out by a helicopter, the office said, and he was converted into a Galatin County Sheriff office deputy coroner.
The victims were identified by Sheriff’s office as 60 -year -old Robert Konover of Tennessee; Madison also of Konover, 23, Tennessee; And 55 -year -old Kurt Hanok Robbie of Utah.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known. It was investigating by Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
