How was this clay-based 3D-crushed house built
The house is located in Yamaga, Kumamoto province. The leeb work was made by the company, Arup and the 3D-Pradhanting firm Vasp. Instead of using cement, the team created a new material from earth, lime and natural fiber. These elements are renewable, widely available, and are kind to the environment.
During construction, the 3D printer of the wasp layered the soil-based mixture to create curved walls and ribbed texture. Once the shell was completed, human workers installed windows, doors and roofs to eliminate the build.
Inside, the house looks bright and modern. Larger windows fill the rooms with natural light, and clean lines increase the space. Flat roofs and textured walls reveal the 3D-freed origin of the house with subtlety.

Off-grinded features of this permanent 3D-crushed house
This house is not only environmentally friendly, it is also off-grind and is completely connected. It uses the solar panel and Tesla’s powerwall battery, which power everything from light and air conditioning to smart baths, which can be controlled through smartphones or voice commands. Embedded sensors in the structure will now monitor their performance over time, track everything from insulation to humidity.
