The Defense Department has ordered 700 American Marines to leave Los Angeles, California on Monday, after a month they were deployed in the city against the will of the city leaders and were amid violent protests against American immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) action.
The Trump administration deployed 700 marines and made about 4,000 National Guard soldiers federal to reduce anti -immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) riots and protests in early June at Los Angeles.
Marines assigned to the region were limited to defending federal buildings, including the preventive facility in the ice office and downtown la.

Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said, “With the return of stability to Los Angeles, the Secretary has directed the redistribution of 700 marines, whose presence has sent a clear message: no unrighteousness will be tolerated.” “Their rapid response, unbreakable discipline, and infallible presence played an important role in restoring the order and maintaining the rule of law. We are deeply grateful to his service, and for the strength and professionalism brought in this mission.”
The decision to leave the Marine of Pentagon was ordered to leave the city last week after half of the National Guard soldiers.

Newsom won an early victory in the case, when a federal judge illegally watched the guard deployment and crossed Trump’s authority. An appeal court threw the order, and the soldiers controlled with the federal government. The federal court is ready to hear the argument next month whether military Pose is violating the Pose Committees Act.

The Trump administration lawyers wrote to file a legal case on 23 June that the deployment of the National Guard soldiers was for 60 days, although the Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth “had the discretion to shorten or extend it to respond to the situation on the ground.
