Patrick Reid on Saturday shot a three-end-funded tour on 4-in-end 68 to win a three-stroke lead in Live Golf Dallas for his first victory.
After an initial 67, for the first round lead with 4ACES team partner Herold Warner III, Reid had six shovedies and two bogies to reach 9-under 135 at the Marido Golf Club. 34 -year -old Reid won the 2018 Masters and won nine PGA Tour.
Paul Casey (67) and Abraham Anger (69) were bound to another. Warner shot 72 to finish third with Tiereel Haton (65), Richard Bland (69) and David Puig (69).
Bryson Decombo did his second straight up to 72. He lives in Dallas and played his college golf at SMU.
There was a four-stroke lead in 4 accesses in the team competition.
