Patrick Reid and Herold Warner III to share the first round lead in the Live Golf Dallas at the Marido Golf Club on each shot 5-under 67 on Friday.
Reid egged 655 -yard, para -5 seconds hole and had four Birds and one bogey. Warner, the partner of Reid’s 4ACES team, had six birdies and a closing bogie.
John Rahm was a stroke back. Abraham Anger shot 69, and Dustin Johnson was 70 with Graeme McDowel, Aniran Lahiri, Richard Bland and David Puig at 70.
Bryson Decombo opened with 72. He lives in Dallas and played his college golf at SMU.
Number leader Jokin Neemon, descending from winning at Live Golf Virginia, shot 78. He had 10 at 10 Seventh.
Brooks returned during the period due to illness. He broke a tea marker with his driver on the ninth hole.
