New Delhi: The debate on Operation Sindoor and Pahgam terror attack in the Rajya Sabha saw a warm exchange between the opposition and the Treasury Peeths, when the House Leader JP Nadda made some “objectionable” comments against the leader of opposition Mallikrajun Kharge. Nadda later withdrew his comment after an opposition uproar and also apologized for it.After Kharge’s long speech over an hour, Nadda objected to some of the comments made by the LoP against PM Narendra Modi. Nadda accused Kharge of “losing his mental balance” and using objectionable words, but soon withdrew his statement amid opposition from the opposition. “I withdraw my words,” Nadda said and asked the chair that his comment could be replaced with “Bhavavesh Meen fanciful tax” (flow of emotions).Nadda demanded that Kharge’s comment on PM be abolished by record. However, along with Kharge, opposition benches demanded an apology from NADDANadda said, “PM Modi is the most popular leader in the world and not only the BJP is proud of him, the nation,” Nadda said, Kharge has not taken care of PM’s stature and used objectionable words that were not telling about the status of LOP.“I have already withdrawn my words, but if they have hurt her (Kharge’s) feelings, I apologize for the same. However, Kharge crossed her border and made some comments against the Prime Minister out of passion and spirit, which needs to end,” Nadda said.
