Bandy said in his statement, “I am sorry to remember all my CPAC friends today.”
“Unfortunately, I am recovering from the recently torn cornea, preventing me from being with you,” she continued. “I really want I was able to join you and was supporting all the work being done on this important issue.”
After reading the statement, the scattered applause was heard from the audience.
“We appreciate applause for him and not for me,” Geloti jokingly said. “So I will try my best to fill those big shoes.”

Other officials of the Trump administration spoke at the event, which included Homeland’s Security Secretary Christie Nom and Border Caesar Tom Homan.
Bondi’s canceled presence comes when he has recently faced an investigation on the denial of Trump administration to release documents around the case of deceased sex hunter Jeffrey Epstein.
According to a new report by The Wall Street Journal, Bondi informed President Donald Trump in May that his name appeared several times in Epstein’s documents.
The Attorney General had said earlier this year that an Eptin “Client List” was at his desk before the Department of Justice and the FBI recently claimed that Epstein killed himself and there was no evidence that he had kept such a list. Bandy also said her previous comments, saying that she was referring to Epstein case file, not the “client list”.

The President said at the White House last week that Bondi could release “whatever is reliable” related to Epstein case as he defended his work on the matter and criticized Republican who is still insisting on releasing the Epstein content.
“He is dead. He is gone,” Trump said about Epstein. “And, it’s all, Republican, some Republican was deceived by Democrats, and they are following a Democrat playbook and are not different from Russia, Russia, Russia and all other Hocx.”
