Review of OnePlus Pad Light: OnePlus has introduced a new, affordable tablet, OnePlus pad light in India. Only Rs. 15,999, the aim of the tablet is to stand in the budget section, as there are already less compelling options available. The tablet offers a large 11 -inch performance, smooth and simplified design, large scale 9340mAh battery, and more. While the offerings look quite promising in papers, is it really worth publicity? Well, I have been using the new OnePlus pad light for a few days and believe it is a very strong contender, especially for users who are students, casual users or multimedia users.
According to the initial use, the OnePlus pad light manages multitasking rapidly, provides a crisp view experience, a clean UI, and its permanent battery life ensures easy productivity throughout the day. So far, I am quite satisfied with what to offer in the use of real life. But first, let’s dive deeply to understand if this affordable tablet may be your next everyday companion by breaking its strength, weaknesses and overall value.
OnePlus Pad Light Review: Design
The OnePlus pad light comes with an attractive design despite the simple and subtle design features. Its light and smooth construction is what the tablet is visible and feels premium. Once you get experience on hands, you will definitely notice premium feel, despite its ability. The OnePlus Pad Light is just 7.39 mm thick, and weighs 530 grams, which is quite impressive for an 11 -inch tablet.
The tablet comes in a single aero blue color option, with a matte-finish texture on the rear panel. In the top center, it sports a single circular camera lens and the center, you will get the OnePlus logo. Surprisingly, the tablet has a comfortable grip and often does not slip. It also does not attract dust.
On the top frame, it includes a power button and a SIM slot, on the right, it features volume control, and finally, it has a USB-C port below. However, OnePlus pad light also provides an IP42 rating for water and dust resistance. Overall, OnePlus pad light comes with a promising design and a premium build, forcing buyers

OnePlus Pad Light Review: Performance
OnePlus pad light has an 11-inch LCD display with an 85.3% screen-to-body ratio, providing a crisp view experience. If you are someone who consumes a lot of media, it is a great tablet option, and you can enjoy viewing HD content on most OTT platforms including Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The color also looks lively and accurate, and I was quite tilted at the time of use. Additionally, it comes with a quad speaker system that provides an impressive audio quality; It is crisp and loud when needed. It is also operated by OnePlus its universal sound field technology, providing a spatial audio experience.
In addition, the display also offers the 90Hz refresh rate, making the tablet quite responsible and smooth when it comes to multitasking, switching between apps or even to play games. The tablet also provides 500nits to peak brightness, which is enough to browse social media, watch OTT content or play games indoors. Since it has been cloudy in Delhi for a few days, I was not able to test the level of brightness during direct sunlight, but it does a promising work.
OnePlus Pad Light Review: Performance and Software
A MediaTek Helio G100 octa-core processor gives strength to OnePlus Pad Light. I received the LTE model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variants, which offered quite a smooth performance. It does not take a lot of time to open the app, provides smooth multitasking, and at the same time provides a decent gaming experience. I mostly used tablets to browse, social media and entertainment objectives, scroll, and it managed these functions without any interval or stuttering.
I also ran BGMI on OnePlus Pad Lite, which surprisingly offered a decent gaming experience in the lowest graphic setting. If you are a casual game, this tablet will not disappoint. Another which I saw that despite the frequent use in the tablet, there are no heating issues, which is quite impressive for a budget tablet.
OnePlus pad light runs on oxygenos 15 based on Android 15, which provides a clean and dislocation free user experience. Additionally, the tablet supports several productivity characteristics such as split-screen and floating window, which provides smooth multitasking. The UI is well adapted to tablets, such as keyboard, settings app, play store app and others. Being a OnePlus user myself, I enjoy the oxygen a lot, and test it on a tablet for the first time, of course leave a good impression.
OnePlus Pad Light Review: Battery
The OnePlus Pad Lite is supported by a 9340mAh battery which provides a full day of battery life in a charge. Despite the heavy use, such as OTT content viewing hours, casual gaming, and browsing through the web and social media, I was left with 15% at the end of the day, which is quite impressive for a tablet in this price section.
For charging, OnePlus Pad Light supports 33W supercoke charging, in which the device takes more than 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully charge 15% to 100%. Given that it has a large battery, the charge time is not a lethargy.
Review of OnePlus Pad Light: Decision
Should you buy OnePlus Pad Lite at Rs. 15,999? Well, in my opinion, it is a very excellent tablet in the given budget. This not only provides a crisp view, but its quad speaker system gives a premium performance. Performance and UI were also smooth in full use, offering spontaneous multitasking, a promising gaming experience, and it is perfect for day-day functions. Therefore, if you are a student or looking for budget -friendly tablets for basic tasks and entertainment purposes, getting OnePlus pad light is a great option.
