OnePlus is expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities in more smartphones with a broad rollout of AI Plus Mind, a feature designed to act directly like an individual assistant manufactured in the device. Initially available at OnePlus 13S, the company has now confirmed that the AI-managed equipment is being pushed into OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R and Nord 5 series, making the experience more accessible to the wide set of users.
AI Plus Mind Centers on the New Plus, a dedicated button that enables sharp actions and relevant assistance. The system learns from the user’s behavior, estimates the requirements, and simplifies regular functions that will otherwise require manual input. For OnePlus, this is another attempt to feel the smartphone more personal and active than only responsible.
This feature is anchored by three main functions. The first is capture and arranged, which allows users to save information from the screen with the same action. Details like reservation, schedule or ticket can be stored immediately by pressing the plus key or using three-fingers swipes. These are then automatically sorted within the Mind Space App, which removes important information for easy recovery. For example, a restaurant booking sent on the text can be saved and it can be filed manually without the need to copy the details, while the flying confirmation by email can be stored for later reference.

The second capacity is AI search, which allows users to find information stored through conjunctival signals. Instead of scrolling through apps or files, users can ask natural questions such as “Show me my flight details from last month” or “Find out my hotel booking” to get information immediately. This search function extends to mind space, files, notes and even settings.
The third function is a smart suggestion, where the auxiliary recognizes reference and indicates on time. For example, saving the screenshot of the concert ticket may trigger a suggestion to add the event to the calendar, while detecting the appointment of a doctor in a message may lead to a reminder prompt.

With AI Plus Mind now expanding in OnePlus 13 Series and Nord 5 lineups, the company is giving the equipment as a step towards more spontaneous digital assistance. The focus has been on reducing the number of stages required to perform everyday tasks and the information management is focused on reducing the number of stages required to make manual search and less dependent on the event.
