What is racket?
The conspiracy of the racket, or directing an illegal enterprise under the racketer effects and corrupt organizations Act (RICO), is a formal name for the charge.
The law was designed to pick up the owners of the crowd, but since then it has been used in other trials, which for sex trafficking – such as insulted in the case against R&B singer R. Kelly.
It is sometimes used against a group of defendants. US President Donald Trump and his associates were accused of conspiring to reverse the 2020 election results in Georgia – those allegations were denied.
In order to convince the combs in this charge, the prosecutors had to prove that they used their loyal network of their colleagues to run a criminal venture to commit crime, including sexual trafficking, kidnapping, drugs and hindrance in justice.
In this case, the network would include his employees who argued that the prosecutors argued that played a role in setting up a “freak-off” at the center of the case.
These were long -standing sexual encounters, on which prosecution witnesses stated that they were forced to have sex with male escorts, while Combs saw.
In an raid on his Los Angeles Haveli, the police supplied, which they said that they were for use in the freak-off, including drugs and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil.

His lawyers had asked the witnesses to reduce the allegation whether the employees of the Comombs ever saw the freak-off.
The prosecution star witness Kaisa Ventura said she did not think they were present.
The defense lawyers argued that if members of the comments employees were not deliberately entangled, the matter could not be considered racket.
“Are you joking with me? Are you joking with me?” Defense lawyer Mark Agnifilo said. “Did any witnesses meet at that witness stand and say, ‘Yes, I was part of a raccizing enterprise, I was busy in racketering?”
A criminal defense lawyer and former federal prosecutor Robert Mintz told the BBC that the most challenging allegations for the prosecutors to prove a jury were always the most challenging.
To acquire a punishment, lawyers were required to prove that Comombs established a coordinated plan between himself and at least another person, which, to commit at least two crimes for several years, said Mr. Mintz.
“This is a very complex charge, which is commonly used in the past in organized crime prosecution,” Mr. Mintz said, saying that this charge gave the jury the most difficulty.
