Officials said that a plane carrying 49 people crashed on Thursday in the far -eastern region of Russia.
A twin-engine Antonov-24 aircraft operated by Angara Airlines, led to the city of Tibba from the city of Bagveshchensk near the Russian-Chinese boundary, said on Telegram when it disappeared from the radar, regional governor Vasili Orlov said on Telegram.

The Associated Press, citing Orlov, said that forty -five passengers, including five children, were on the board with six crew members.
Officials said a rescue helicopter later saw the burning torso of the aircraft on a hill about 10 miles from Tinda.
The helicopter did not see any evidence of the people left above, the local rescue team said.
The Civil Defense Agency of Amur region said that she was sending the rescue team to the spot.
“Currently, 25 people and five units are sent to equipment, and four aircraft are on standby with the crew,” said this.
