Officials said on Sunday that two people were shot and killed in a Kentki church after a suspect, who shot and a state soldier injured there, officials said on Sunday.
The two killed were identified as Beverly Gum, 72, and Christina Comombs, 32,, Koroner said at a news conference. The suspect was also killed, Lakesington Police Chief Lawrence Vathers said.
Two others, both men, were injured by gunmen, Vathers said. “One victim was reported to have maintained significant injuries, and the other was stated in a stable position.”
The police chief said the shooting began after the troupener pulled over a vehicle near the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington.
After shooting the Truper before the afternoon on Sunday, the suspect ended at Richmond Road Baptist Church in South -West Lexingon, said the state police.
Officials said the shooting race ended when the Lexington police killed the suspect, the officials said.
The shooting in the church resulted in several injuries, Kentki village. Andy Aashiar said in the previous social media post. The governor said that the Truper and two people who were injured were being treated in a nearby hospital.
“Please pray for all affected by these insensitive acts of violence, and thank you for a rapid response by the Lexington Police Department and Kentki State Police,” said sheer.
