The US Coast Guard is investigating a deadly vessel collision from Miami Beach near Hibiscus Island, after colliding with a corboat at a time after taking children participating in the sailing program in a summer on Monday morning.
Officials said the accident killed two children and left two others in critical condition.
Children were thrown overboard, Sebot drowned
The collision occurred at Bisken Bay at 11 am.
According to the Coast Guard Sector Miami, a adult consultant after the sebot -fifth children and an adult consultant on the board.
All the six residents were thrown into the water, some allegedly trapped under the barge.
Rescue divers and Miami Beach Fire Rescue were the first response to the first view, followed by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, City of Miami Fire Rescue, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Coast Guard.
Three victims were taken to Miami-Dad Marina, while two children were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and later declared dead.
The Coast Guard confirmed that two other children were hospitalized in critical condition. A child and counselor was evaluated to the site but was not taken to the hospital.
A Coast Guard small boat crew established a 250-yard security area around the site, where the submerged cilabot stays under the barge.

The Miami Yot Club confirmed that the children involved were part of its Summer Program, Miami Youth Selling Foundation.
“At this time, the details are still emerging, and we are actively assembled all the available facts,” the club said. “Our priority is the safety and welfare of all involved, and we are working closely with the officers and organizations suitable to fully understand the situation.”
