The guns are silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over.
When the watches stopped at the original run of Oasis in 2009, the fans did not imagine that Liam and Noel Galagher would take 16 years to perform together again in front of the Scottish crowd.
Now, 5,896 days after his last appearance at Murfield Stadium in Edinburgh, the band is back for three nights in the Arena on Friday, Saturday and Tuesday.
An estimated 70,000 fans are expected to pack to the stadium each night – which can see a new record set for the largest stadium gig in Scottish history.
Giggs arrive at the height of the festival of Edinburgh, with the population of the city already a dip during the month.
But there is no doubt that Oasis is the hottest ticket in the city.
An official fan shop selling licensed goods was opened on the city’s George Street on Monday and welcomed thousands of customers through the door.
On Thursday, a pracharak car parked outside with the final show of Edinburgh Hospitality was welcomed – slapped with a parking ticket.
Teddy and Carlee Cheeser, after getting married in Edinburgh, 22 years ago, traveled from America to Gig.
Carly said that she was a fan as Teddy introduced her to the band when she met in 2000.
He said that this was the first time he came back to the city leaving four of his children at home.
“We decided to go to the lottery and if we get it, we are going back to Scotland,” he said.
“All four children had to stay at home, they were very surprised.
“We have seen him six to 10 times in the states, but this is the first time we have returned to Scotland since marriage.”
The doors open in Marefield from 17:00 every day starting on Friday.
The 90s will be assisted by Indie Stars Cast and former Varve Frontman, Richard Ashcroft.
Tickets are coded and allow entry into the stadium at only a few points.
People with green or orange tickets can enter through Roseburn Street.
Purple ticket holders can enter through Roseburn Park or Riverside Street and blue ticket holders pass through the Roseburn Crescent entrance.
Scotral has already placed a late night services on top of the festival timetable for traveling fans.
Additional trains for Glasgow Queen Street, Dundi, Perth and Dunblane will leave from Hemarket, about 15 minutes from Murfield, after Gigs.
Nobody ever mentioned the weather
As the Liam Settlest sings in the opener, no one has ever mentioned that the weather can make or break your day.
It may be that the year Friday may not be the only thing for fans to fall like rain as there may be a chance to rain shortly before the band is taken on stage. However, those people are predicted to pass quite quickly.
The crowd is more likely to spend its day in the sun on Saturday, but it will still be a bang and feel a bit good – the right weather to break a park.
The best position will be seen on Tuesday, fans urged not to lose their confidence in summer during the day when some scattered rainfall forecasts, as the evening is expected to improve.
The Murrayfield show The Reunion Tour is the fourth UK site played by the band.
They mark a poignant return in the country for the Galagher brothers and guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthur.
The three are the only remaining members of the original band, signed on the creation record after being in 1993. King Tut in Glasgow performed in wow wow hut By record executive Alan McGi.

His last Scottish Gig came on 17 June 2009, just two months before his partition at the Rock Ann Scene Festival in Paris.
Federica Femia and Emilia Cacciapuoti wanted to see them in Milan, which was the next scheduled stop on that tour.
But the gigs never proceeded.
On Thursday, he bought a special version of the 1997 album, B has Now at George Street Shop.
Federica said that now it is expected to be lost after a visit from Rome to Edinburgh for early Friday’s early gig.
He said, “When they were together, I never succeeded in seeing them and they broke down just before the concert in Milan.”
“This is to make it for him.”
