The Department of Security Secretary, Homeland, Christie NoM, said on Sunday that criticisms on the federal response to a deadly flood in Texas were politically motivated, called the allegations of a Democratic MP “absolutely disgusting”.
Nom appeared on “Fox News Sunday”, where he defended against claims that FEMA’s response was delayed, and Sen to Sen. From Chris Murphy, D-Con, that President Donald Trump and NoM had fired FEMA employees as flood victims.
“You know, this memorandum and this criticism, I think, all politics because I was there,” NoM said. “I was there and every time someone asked for something, we said, of course, it will be here as soon as possible and it will be done.”
Nom said he and more than 700 FEMA activists were in the area within a few hours of a call with Texas officials. The Coast Guard also immediately posted after the call, he said.

The fourth flood of July killed at least 129 people in Central Texas. Officials believe that more than 160 people may still disappear in Ker County.
The secretary said the operation was “the fastest in history that FEMA ever responded to an disaster” and, unlike FEMA’s poor track record under the Biden administration, this time FEMA operated “how President Trump wanted to operate it.”
“I am very proud of the fact that we did not go there and managed it,” he said. “We went there and to run the local authorities, to run it, the state did a great job. We are there to support and give them what resources they need.”

NOEM claimed in the CNN report that it delayed the DHS response to the Texas Flood, as ‘Absolutely Garbage’
When asked about Murphy’s claims about the calls of Murphy victims that Famera was going unanswered in the following days after the deadly flood, Noam called his words “a complete lie”.
“That’s what I think the situation is so disgruntled and terrible. No one was fired, no contract was finished, everyone was responding to the call and they could all help the people of Texas,” NoM said. “So the fact that Democrats are politicizing it, while people are still looking for their children, they are still looking for their family members, I think it’s absolutely low.”
Nom said that Americans “need to know the truth” How Democrats “are taking advantage of this situation so that they can help themselves politically.”
“It is just an disagreement for the people of Texas and these families who are currently passing by sorrow, it is an dissatisfaction for our country,” he said.
Fox News arrived at Murphy’s office to comment on Digital NoM’s comment, but did not immediately respond.
Nom was also asked about a federal judge, which issues a temporary preventive order against several snow operations done in southern California.
He called the judge’s decision “ridiculous” and said that the federal government would appeal.

“We always created our investigation on our operations, castings, to know those people who were needed to target because they were criminals, because they had committed violent crimes against individuals in their communities or abolished their orders, violated federal laws, and always is how it is done,” Noam said.
