Atlanta – It did not take a long time for 2025 National League all-stars to heat up in Atlanta.
Erizona Diamondback’s second Basman Katel Mart hit a double in the first innings, scoring the hometown star Ronald Ekuna Jr. and two-way star Shohei Ohtani. The National League added to his major etiquette of Met’s Infielder Pete Alonso’s three-Run Homer in the sixth, which made the score 6–0.

The American League eventually cut a loss in the next innings when athletics outfielder Brent Rooker responded with a three -run Homer. Later in the same innings, Bobby Wit Junior entered the choice of a fielder to get AL’s fourth run on the board.

Wit Junior also doubled to the top of the ninth to bring AL within one run. Steven Quan of Cleveland reached an informed single to bring the game into 6-6 tie.

The score tied after nine innings meant that the winner would be determined by the swing-off.
Tuesday night marked the midsmor classic winner for the first time in history. Phillies Slugger Kyle Schwarber was named the All-Star Game MVP after his talk in the Home Run Derby-Style Tybreaker, which helped NL lift NL to win.

“It was interesting, exciting, fun,” Schwarber told Fox Sports about the experience in the swing-off for the first time.
Schwarber hit three homeers in swing-offs to keep the National League ahead 4-3 after a tie game. He became a hit in the all-star game, but was found on the base through a walk.
There was a lot of discussion about the all-star game debut for the automated ball-strike system. Raining Home Run Derby Champion, Cal Rale, indicated to the Robot umpire’s appeal in the first innings. Rale’s appeal was successful as he received a strike for his partner NL All-Star Tariq Scubble.
“You can take them in any way, you can get them, boys,” Scuball said on the mound.
Athletics Ruki Jacob Wilson was also successful as the first batsman to call for a challenge, in the fifth innings, Washington’s McCenzie Gore reversed Fastball 1–0 from McKenzie Gore, called the strike.
The computer umpire was tested in spring training this year and was adopted at a minor league level for a regular session a few years ago.
