New Jersey Republican has proposed a law to convert Delaware Bay into “The Bay of New Jersey”, which is changing the Gulf of Mexico in the Gulf of the US, inspired by President Donald Trump’s executive order.
The remedy presented by GOP State Sen Michael Testa on Thursday will order the state agencies to reflect new designation and use “The Bay of New Jersey” in publications, signage, websites and materials to reflect new designation and inform relevant federal institutions. Nj.com reported.
“I look at the strong fishing industry – commercial fishing industry and entertaining industry of New Jersey State,” he explained the outlet. “I think the fact that we have to call the bay that we catch fish in Delaware Gulf – they had a long claim.”
The Testa Cape represents the May County, which are boundaries.
