One of the remaining Orleans Parish Gel escapi is still running after local and federal officials arrested the ninth fugitive Antony Massey.
Massey was one of the 10 prisoners to escape from the minimum-custody site at the Orleans Justice Center on 16 May, when he removed a toilet from a wall inside a cell and then crawled through it.

“This is the last reverse count,” Gov Jeff Landry said in a post on X on Friday.

At the time of his escape, Massey was strangled to strangulation for domestic misconduct batteries, theft of motor vehicles and parole violations.
“This evening, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations- New Orleans Field Office and Homeland Security Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Marshal Service and New Orleans Police Department detectives arrested and arrested 33-year-old Antony Messi at one residence in New Orleans.”

Massey’s occupation comes after a petition for President Donald Trump and other celebrities via Instagram to help prove its self-proclaimed innocence earlier this month.
“I am seeking help from the world,” a person who appeared as Massey, said in the video. “Mic Mills, Lil Wayne, Youngboy, Donald Trump. I am asking for these people. I did not even get a lawyer. I could not tolerate a lawyer to prove my innocence.”

More than a dozen others have been arrested for allegedly fleeing from collective jails to help the fugitives.

Officials said the Orleans Justice Center is only 60% of staffing, and at the time of escape, four supervisors and 36 staff members were monitoring 1,400 prisoners.

Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutton announced a temporary suspension of his election campaign again in a statement on 21 May.

A total prize of $ 50,000 from various agencies is being presented for information for the arrest of Groves.
